Our patients and their families are not just objects of our research. They are not just a “voice” that we must heed to in our studies. And they are not even just helpers in the projects. We’ve invited them to be part of our team, as true research collaborators. What they bring to our patient-centered studies is harder to find than any other team resource or skill – the unique expertise of their personal experience.
