The CPRME Congress, focused on the Research Network on the Developmental and Intergenerational Origins of Children’s Health, recognized Ayla’s exceptional research and presentation, highlighting the lab’s commitment to advancing child health research.

Today is World Pediatric Surgery Day. Being a children's surgeon has been a blessing of a lifetime. There is so much I cherish about what we do. But what I cherish most is the trust we build with our patients and families. That is the foundation upon which all else is built.
