This grant underscores their dedication to fostering inclusive research practices and enhancing the representation of Indigenous communities in pediatric health studies.

Today is World Pediatric Surgery Day. Being a children's surgeon has been a blessing of a lifetime. There is so much I cherish about what we do. But what I cherish most is the trust we build with our patients and families. That is the foundation upon which all else is built.
