Ayla has been awarded the SSP Travel Award by the Surgeon-Scientist Program (SSP) in the Department of Surgery, in recognition of her presentation at the 2025 American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress in Chicago.
Justina has received the FRQS Studentship Grant for her project titled “Reducing mortality from surgically correctable neonatal conditions in Nigeria: Identifying gaps, developing and implementing interventions”.
Suganthi received the FRQS Studentship Grant for her project titled “Longitudinal patient-reported outcomes (PROs), patient-reported experiences (PREs), social determinants of health (SDoH) and health services utilization following major neonatal surgery”.
